In earlier time, Factice used to be as low cost partial substitute for rubber. Over a period there is development / modernization in manufacturing process and now it is being used as important additive for rubber industries. The factice is widely used in rubber industries for process like Moulding, Extrusion, calendaring, lining etc. It can substitute costly polymers like EPDM, Nitril, Neoprene, Butyl, Hypalon etc.
